Mission Statement
Interrelation is an artist collective grounded in the belief that genuine connection fuels creative growth. Largely inspired by the community built within the Montana Modernist movement, driven by Robert and Gennie DeWeese, we aim to rekindle the traditional spirit of artist guilds. Interrelated makers where the common need to create drives members to their fullest potential.
Art making, within itself, can be an isolating task. Our focus is on cultivating a balance between collaboration and individualism. This begins with building a network of shared knowledge and support. Through this network, artists of all disciplines and backgrounds are uplifted to exchange resources that strengthen both individual practices and a sense of collective connection. We will achieve this by organizing thoughtfully curated events, exhibitions, and mentorship opportunities that reimagine the relationship between personal creativity and shared experience.
